XREAL 1 Pro+ goes on sale November 10. The glasses are ¥84,980, and the Eye bundle lasts through the 9th
XREAL’s November 2 announcement. A successor to the One Pro. Preorders run through 23:59 on November 9. Peak brightness is 1,200 nits, and 375 nits when the image is locked in space.

On November 2, XREAL opened domestic preorders for the XREAL 1 Pro+. Official sale and shipping start November 10, and the glasses alone are ¥84,980 tax included. Preorders run through 23:59 on November 9, and only in that window is the set with XREAL Eye ¥91,960. That is ¥7,000 less than buying the pieces separately. They are sold on the official online shop and at participating electronics retailers.
These are not glasses for reading notifications from morning to night. They are glasses that take the screen of a phone, a computer, or a handheld game console over USB-C and make it large. Daily notifications are covered by the Even G2. On a day you want a big screen, the condition for choosing these is whether you already have a device that can send video.
The brightest number and the locked-view number are different
The announcement leads with a peak brightness of 1,200 nits and a new AI HDR (processing that balances bright and dark tones). The line about holding highlights and shadows in a bright room or while you are moving is attached to the peak number. The other brightness in the spec table is 375 nits while viewing in 3DoF (processing that locks the screen to one place in space as your head turns). When you leave the screen parked in space, this is the number to read.
There are three display modes: Standard, Movie, and Reading. The announcement says the feature that turns 2D video and games into stereo on the spot went from 30 fps on the previous model to 60 fps. Refresh rate is up to 120 Hz, the field of view is 57 degrees, and resolution is 1920×1080 per eye. Color is calibrated per unit at the factory, and ΔE, the figure for color error, is stated as under 3.
No small box is required. A device to plug in is
The X1 chip inside the glasses locks the screen. The announcement says the glasses fix the image on their own, without leaning on the attached device to do that work. The connection is USB Type-C DisplayPort Alt Mode (a way to receive the video signal over the cable). The named devices are phones that can output video (iPhone 15 and 16 and later, and Android phones), iPad, Mac, Windows, and handhelds such as Steam Deck and ROG Ally.
The same announcement also opened domestic reservations for the Android XR AURA. AURA is a set that runs apps on a small box at the end of the cable (a compute pack). The 1 Pro+ receives the screen of a device you already own. The purchase is different.
Weight is about 82 g to 84 g, described as light in line with the One Pro. Interpupillary distance (the gap between the pupils) comes in 63 mm and 69 mm, and the product page says those two sizes cover up to 95% of global IPD. The nose pads are new, meant to slip less and hold the image in place.
The lenses change tint electrically. The announcement says a button on the side switches among three steps. The product page also says the tint changes automatically with the surroundings. There are two speakers, one on each side, that do not block the ears, and the product page attributes them to Bose. There are four directional microphones. A sensor turns the image off when you take the glasses off and brings it back when you put them on. The announcement adds that this is to prevent burn-in.
Eye is sold separately, and the bundle price lasts through the 9th
The announcement says 6DoF (tracking that follows position forward, back, and sideways, as well as which way your head turns) is available when you connect the separately sold XREAL Eye. The product page also says Eye is required for the feature that keeps the screen aligned with your facing while you move. Reaching out to operate the screen is sold separately as Eye too. The ¥91,960 bundle is only for preorders from 14:00 on November 2 through 23:59 on November 9. The ¥84,980 glasses-only price remains after November 10. The bundle discount is for this window.
They are for people who want movies and games large, coming from a phone or handheld they already have. They are not a substitute for reading notifications all day. If you also want the controls that keep a screen parked in space while you move, look at the price before 23:59 on the 9th, while the Eye bundle is still there.
