Rokid Jungle 2026: color and a ring as the next move
TMTPost’s account of Rokid Glasses 2, full-color Color, and the Ring for input, read against how I use the current Rokid Glasses. These reports do not confirm a Japan launch date.
Rokid has split the next display glasses into three. TMTPost reports on Rokid Jungle 2026, dated October 27, 2026.
I have used the current Rokid Glasses as my benchmark for camera glasses. This round is that successor, a separate line that adds color, and a ring you operate with a finger. I have not seen the hardware. I am reading only as far as the reporting goes, for what seems likely to change.
TMTPost lays out three roles
According to TMTPost, the announcements were Rokid Glasses 2, full-color Rokid Color, and Rokid Ring for input. As official China prices, it lists Glasses 2 at 3,699 yuan in black and 3,849 yuan in tortoiseshell, Color at 4,999 and 5,499 yuan, and Ring at 1,699 yuan. These are not Japanese retail prices.

CNR the same day also reports Color, Ring, and Glasses 2 in this price range. The figures come from the launch briefing. I have not checked them on a Japan sales page.

Glasses 2 looks like a thinner update of today’s Rokid
In TMTPost’s account, Glasses 2 is a softened square frame in black and tortoiseshell. The article cites manufacturer figures: the optical engine is 30% smaller than the previous generation, and overall length is 1mm shorter. The battery is 263mAh, up 25%. A second-generation charging capsule comes with it.
The camera stays. A preview before capture and a 12-megapixel sensor are also in the article as manufacturer claims. More than a spec contest, the question is whether what I felt with the current Rokid remains. Capture was useful when both hands were busy. Asking the camera AI “what is this?” did not become a daily habit over a few days. I still do not know whether Glasses 2 reverses that ratio.
These two articles do not confirm when it can be bought in Japan. Launch and shipping dates stay unconfirmed.
Once there is color, the job in front of your eyes changes
According to TMTPost, Color uses a 0.16cc full-color Micro-LED optical engine and weighs 55 grams without the nose pads. It can show photos, video, and colored status. Navigation, progress, games, and social uses are listed among the jobs.
A small monochrome display is enough for notifications and translation. That is roughly what I look at every day on Even G2. Color pulls the glasses toward showing maps and photos. It is interesting. It sounds useful, and it also makes the space in front of your face feel closer to a screen. If Glasses 2 stays a tool and Color takes content, that is the split I expect.
The ring looks like an answer to how often you lift a hand to the temple
TMTPost says Ring drives the glasses with left and right swipes, a single tap, and a double tap. It is input for moments when you do not want to speak, or when you need to keep moving through items. Heart rate, temperature, and similar monitoring are also listed.
When I asked a question on the current Rokid, I reached for the temple. Once is small. Repeat it, and the phone starts to feel faster. If a ring cuts that count, it answers the control complaint directly. It also means wearing one more thing besides the glasses. Whether I would remember both every day is something I will not know until I wear them.
As long as the camera stays, how these sit in schools and around people you do not know will remain different from camera-free everyday glasses. Color and a ring look likely to widen what you can do. Explaining the camera on your face stays a separate job.
